The accountants for the company my husband works for mistakenly cut him a check for $1,243,000!! Of course the GM who handed out the checks saw the mistake and handed it to him anyway just to see his reaction. He just laughed about it. (Now I, on the other hand, would have ran and not looked back!!) Now everytime we see the Brinks security truck pull up out front, we joke and say they're bringing my husbands paycheck! LOL

It was for the sale of a house, minus the price of my current (rather more modest) residence.

I got $126,000.00 for a car accident that I broke my arm in. Don't ask me wher the $ is now. Py parents gave me $10,000.00 cause I was under 18 and its already gone :)

25,000 for a work comp claim...it was a joke though, I should have got more. The company was totally liable for my injury and work comp wouldn't pay, so I had to sue them. It wasn't for a sissy injury either....it was my back. I will have problems for life now thanks to their ignorance.
