then pick "free stuff" or something like that.

Look for Craigslist of your city. There are a lot of free stuff listed there that people want to get rid of.

It really does depend what "free stuff" you're looking for. If you're looking for commercial products for free without stealing, sadly, there is nothing for you. If you're thinking of free and useful software, i can warmly recommend http://www.versiontracker.com/ .
