it's easy! -
all you have to do is stop the rich getting richer and poor getting poorer - ie, the rich stealing more and more - ie the rich doing less and less per dollar got, the rich getting more and more money per unit of work, ie, injustice, thieving
how to do that?
it is easy!
just pass laws limiting fortunes to justice, ie to the maximum a person can put into the pool of social wealth by work [US$2 million], and spreading the overfortunes equally among all adults on earth - directly, electronically, fully, immediately -
we are supposed to take out only as much as we put in by creating money by creating goods and services - this is called justice, or nontheft - if you stop anyone taking out more than their share, no one has to go without, be stolen from
the alternative is stealing, resentment, violence, endless escalation, extinction - soon
1% are getting 90% of world income - US$70 trillion a year - and doing less than 1% of the work - ie, maximal theft, violence and escalation
how to get such laws?
it's easy!
99% are underpaid now - so 99% will be better paid with justice - so 99% will be very keen to have this change, which restores to them all the money/value/wealth/goods they create by work - so it will be easy to get a 99% majority for the change
overpay is also overpower - ie, tyranny, fascism, dictatorship, oppression, abuse of human rights, warmongering, troublemaking, corruption, sadism, nazism, torture, genocide, evils, militarism, destruction of democracy, freedom, safety, friendliness, states, empires and peace
so everyone will be keen for the change
how will we tell everyone about this great opportunity to get rid of a million evils?
it's easy!
if everyone who learns it only tells two people [but well enough so that they too understand the essential importance of telling two people] everyone in the world will hear about it in just 31 times the time to tell two! - [and word of mouth is safest and furthest from state control and sabotage by terrorism and misinformation -
1 you educate two people to the point where they understand the enormous benefits and the essential importance of telling two 2. you wait till everyone is informed and clear that this is indeed very very good 3. you stand back while the lawyers write the laws with universal approval, and the public officials set up the bank accounts for everyone, and the electronic transfer system - 4. you watch with satisfaction as the world starts to come right - the global ship of state to right itself, with justice and peace everywhere, no overpower manipulating everyone, massacring millions, no underpay causing righteous anger and violence
how to get everyone to agree to this change?
it's easy!
everyone already agrees! - why? - because everyone will agree that everyone will easily agree that, if a govt took 90% of income permanently off 90% of people, and gave it to 1%, that would cause enormous troubles, problems, headaches, conflicts, and evils - escalating endlessly as both sides try to win, and both sides endlessly give back the violence the other side has just given them
so everyone already knows that injustice in money is the root cause of the violence escalating to extinction soon
US$70 trillion a year coming back to its true owners, the earners, workers, creators of it - that is US$70,000 per family - every family getting that - rich and poor families - on top of their present income, if any - and the end of racing to extinction by everincreasing violence and the atom bomb - and the end of tyranny and undemocracy, terrorism and state terrorism - and perpetual world peace
all it takes is people getting their heads round it by a bit of study and reading and mental digestion
in return for a bit of thinking and realigning of the wits, perpetual freedom from tyranny and war, the restoration of true govt, and US$15 an hour for every worker in the world, including homemakers and students, and US$75,000 a year for every family working average hard!
plus: ten times as many scientists, entrepreneurs, and inventors, power to protect the environment, greater income growth, cheaper loans, lower taxes - if it sounds hard to believe, just think: things are bound to be a lot better if you stop the theft of 90% of world income!

France, Belgium, Russia and other European countries have a vested stake in the economic underdevelopment and continuous state of civil war throughout Africa. They have limited resources and will not help Africa realize the value of theirs until Europe has plundered everything of value from them.
If the UN really wanted to prove they are not worthless they would help Africa develop economically. But then France would have to pay market value for col-tran instead of paying pennies on the black market, the same with Belgium and cocoa, France and the Dutch are robbing oil and natural gas, the list is too long. And if there were no civil war how would Belgium and Russia make money selling arms to all sides.
They keep the people ignorant and use civil war to keep them from getting organized, using their natural tribal instinct to work against them.

Don't worry about the things because everything will be alright, Africa is on the move again, and out of economic underdevelopment. (thus if you take away the 18/19th century European scramble for Africa).
Here are some signals (1) African are on the move throughout the world and taking their studies to much far higher levels than before. (2) The African presidents - whatever names you like to call them for whatever reasons; but they have in their ways also boosted Africans to get up and go out their in such of information needed to bring Africa economy to world market. (3) If you think pricing your product is good for your economy, then let the sound of pricing products by other producers be a moral obligation.
Let the "Golden rule" guide you to enter Africa. It pays you, it pay every body.

I think the first goal should be to make sure that the percentage of Africans who cannot afford food decreases. This can happen with a simple 2 step process.
First there needs to be basic sanitation, clean water. Without clean water people will spend too many resources trying to survive. This will free up a lot of peoples' time as well as decreasing infant mortality and ensuring that people have less children.
Secondly people should use Africa's comparative advantages. At the moment, there are minerals, mining is however capital intensive. However, agriculture should be the first step. For this to happen however, the present trade regime will have to be changed. Subsidies to agriculture in Developed countries like USA and Europe will have to go, so will ridiculous barriers such as banana curvature.
The trick will be to transform Africa from the basket case to the bread basket.

Possible, but not easy.
Debt repayments are part of the problem, but corruption is a huge issue and saps the life blood out of an economy. There are so many things that need to happen:
* greater transparency and accountability
* debt forgiveness (for some nations)
* reduction in red tape
* lifting of trade barriers (agricultural subsidies in the northen hemisphere and restrictions on foreign investment in Africa)
* greater education
Everyone has a role to play - Africans and non-Africans. Each little bit helps, but the breakdown of the WTO talks was a disaster for developing Africa.

I believe it is possible. However, they would have to first consider becoming one to three countries. As long as there is 53 different countries it will be difficult. Discontinue those tribal wars and work on becoming a competitor in the markets. As for resources they do have some natural resources and some oil in Nigeria. The other key is that most of the countries remain loyal to their colonizing countries and rob themselves of any other markets. I believe that if Africa became a strong economic Country and not a weak continent, it would help with the other issue such as poverty and diseases. As for HIV/AIDS as the person mention that is another can of worms you would not want to touch. Research and find the percentage of countries in Africa dying of AIDS. It is not all of them. So African will survive they made it this far despite all of the hideous history of colonization.

Only Africa can solve Africa's problems. I believe it's in a learning phase & that sooner or later its people will realise they are alone & that Africa will only improve if they take control (ie vote smartly, adapt to the global economy, etc). That's already started; just this week, a Malawian Chief led 1000's of demonstrators to prevent a parliamentary rejection of the 2006 national budget!

Africa will always be terribly poor, as the rest of the world benefits off it. I'm not saying it's right, but that's how it is. For every person living comfortably, there needs to be 2 living poor. For the rich, there needs many more. It's like a sliding scale. Africa needs to focus on stopping the tribal genocide. It's bleak.

Most African nations are poorly run. War lords, nepotism, and people that simply aren't qualified to be running an ant farm, much less a country. Some countries in Africa are starting to realize this. There is a long road ahead for those that understand and are trying to educate the masses.

Well realistically it is next to impossible. If you consider how many people are on earth and if they were all to live the posh American lifestyle, the planet would fall apart. I don't expect to see a day when the Western world lives a similar life style to the 3rd world. African people have a hard time finding drinking water that is clean to consume. If you think about that in relation to your everyday American problem, you will see they have a LONG way to go. Despite all this it is important to attempt to end, poverty, disease, slavery, rape, etc. in Africa.

Very possible, but they need to get rid of the tirants and dictaotors.
Zimbabwe would be doing fine if it wasn't for Mugabe
In fact the possiblities are endless - sustained tourism, growing crops. People think that Africa is just drought, it's not.
