"Hi Dave! Haven't seen you in a while. Are you gaining weight?" I wanted to punch him.

A white woman once told my mother, "All Black people can sing." I thought that was the most ridiculous yet funny stereotype. It wasn't told directly to me but it was still a silly statement I thought I'd share it.

I have a silly one
i went to visit my uncle in NC and while i was their, his mother in law called and talked to me. at the end of our conversation, she asked me what i was about to do now, and i told her that i'm going to take a shower. You won't beleive what she said next. this is exactly what she said "make sure you wash your *** well" , i wasn't sure if i heard her well, so i said "what was that?" and she said it again. It was so weird...i wasn't expecting her to say that to me. she doesn't even know(we've never met before). that was so odd. i hang up the phone and asked my uncle why his mother in law said that to me...he just laughed. i was very surprised to hear that from a lady like her...ewww...crazy, black folks...i sometimes don't understand them. anyway...that was my story...i didn't make it up
