Well, England still think they are world power. The 50th anniversary of the Suez Crisis this week should jog their memory of past failures.
England still think they are important, although Blair continues to struggle back home, stumbling from one gaffe to another.
And they think they good in football because their WAGs are world champions in shopping. Not to mention their press.
Hey even Greece are better than them over the past 20 years, I'm not even mentioning Denmark.

It's because the British only INVENTED the game!!!!!
England is a great team, no more insulting the Lions, this is enough.
What is with you people always putting England down? All the Lions have to do is just work on their striking skills a bit and the trophy will go to London in 2010! England has had bad luck in the past, but our time will come again.

They've been runners-up since the American Revolution, but still think they rule the world. Likewise in soccer, which is the name given to the sport by an Englishman, they are stuck in 1966.

I think that they call themselves the big boys has to do with their league. The premier league is one of the best in the world. Some of the best football is played their although many of the league's best players are foreign.

Because they are silly! And they're stucked somewhere in 18th century when they were the most powerfull nation! Did you now that when WC began they didn't wanted too participated because they were "too good", and when they tried to qualify they couldn't make it??Silly!
