I goat tie and I don't find it cruel because it doesn't technically hurt the goat even though they sometimes cry. I know my parents hate that I do it because they think it's cruel.

I'm talking about goat tying, where the goat is in the middle of the arena and you get off your horse, flank the goat, and tie 3 of it's legs together with a goat string (feels like a rope). The goats are only tied for about 5 seconds.

Are you tying the goat with a rope, because it will eat the rope.

I don't think it's cruel at all. Of course they don't like it but aren't we all forced to do things that we don't want to like working, get hurt, sacrifice somethings even. The goats job is to stand in the arena and be tied down. People take animal cruelty too far. My trainer breaks (teaches) horses and he got turned in for animal cruelty because he was using spurs.

unless you own goats u obviously have no idea what goats hate and not hate or what hurts and what doesnt! hello if the bloddy goat cries it hurts and trust me i own goats and goats dont cry often. Why the hell would you tie string to the goats legs anyway come on would u like it if i tied ropse to your arms and legs you wouldnt be able to walk and u would be hurt from falling to the ground. It doesnt matter if its on there for 5 minutes of 1 second it still hurts! its like if i chop your hand off within 1 minute thats still going to hurt isnt!!! yeh think aboutt hat one! for god sake use your brain! idiot!
