You install a spyware on your pc and run the program to find that virus. That will automatically appear as a virus and you will several options to either 'remove' the virus or quarantine it or whatever. I would suggest you get Windows Defender spyware built by Microsoft. It's a very easy software to work with and it does not take a lot of room in your computer

Adware is not a virus. It is Adware. It puts popup ads on your computer and is very annoying. The program used at this site is very good at removing Adware. It is called AdAware SE. The important part of this site is the procedure that opens all areas of your computer to get it out.

If I remember, adware normally comes with some sort of program. I think it comes with Gator e-wallet, but I'm not sure what else it comes with. In add or remove programs, you can remove the program causing the trouble. If you have Gator e-wallet, maybe you can go out and replace it with the adware-free version of it.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

firefox can edit which site/popup to block and unblock.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
