I have Dsl and use a netgear wireless router. How can I use a VoiP handset? Do I need an other gadget to connect those two?

I think so. I have my VOIP adapter plugged into my router. So unless your VOIP handset is geared for wireless internet access you are going to have to use an ethernet cable to hook up the base to your router.

Depends on the handset. If it's wireless enabled, then just plug your voip internet phone adapter into the router, and the phone will pick it up. Otherwise you need to run an ethernet cable from the router to the phone. Or, you could get one of those multi-handset phone kits (regular phones) and just plug the base into the adapter which is plugged into your router. Then put the other handsets wherever else you want them.
