My back hurts really badly... it's sort of like back labor (not pregnant or having cramps) I also have a bump on my cervix. I went to the E.R. last week and they gave me a few antibiotics and tested me for stds. None of the tests were possitive and I still took the antibiotics to treat them if they had been. My back hurts so much I feel like I can't stand it anymore. Have you ever had odd back pain that ended up being something you had never thought of? What was it? What should I do?

See a family doctor. You need to have them take x-rays to make sure that you don't have bone or disc problems. If it is a muscle problem, you can go to physical therapy to strengthen the muscles. Doc may also give you muscle relaxers and/or pain meds.

Go back to the doctor. A doctors first opinion will always be something minor. But if you keep going back, they do more tests and may refer you to another specialist doctor.

yeah weird back pain for ages ... docs said cant find anything then one day bang ................turnrd out my disc had been leaking and then just burst .. so now i have a pro lapsed disc with the remains attached to my sciatic nerve and permantly have believe it or not foot and back pain ...............MY ADVICE please go see a specialist and insist they find the problem .... good luck
