Metallica WAS great at one time. now they are nothing but a hallowed out washed up, band. what kind of metal band sues a guy cause he named his cat metallica. no, i've lost all respect for metallica, i love their old stuff but any more they are kinda standing in their own shadow. i do hope they get better again but i don't really think it's possible. and by the way metallica was never a thrash metal band, they were straight up metal.

They could write ballet for the next 20 years and they will still be considered a metal band because of their contributions to the gender.

Yes. They aren't as heavy as they used to be, but yes, they are still a heavy metal band.
