Atleast w/a racist, I know where i stand (i'm asian) but w/someone who's a bigot, one doesn't know where the nail hits. i have realized over the years that people i didn't think were racists will sometimes confide in me--or talk around me, putting Blacks down (since i'm not to be offended) and Blacks do that also (since i'm not white) and i always wonder what they are saying about me behind my back. Have you had a similar experience? Pls share.

I am an American. In the south during the time of slavery the white plantation owners used the pretty slave girls for mistresses. During the era of railroad building there was the Asian who married white women. The American Indian married whites, or took them from the wagon trains. So if you ask me if I am racist no. Somewhere through history one of those blood lines are in me, I am sure. Would I want to insult myself without knowing, don't think so. We live in an ever changing world, let's hope it soon changes for the better. Hate because of ones color is horrible offense to all mankind.

Well, being white I have heard people to talk about all ethnic groups. However they talk about other whites also, using terms like redneck. Personally, I don't like discrimination in any form. Racism, bigotry, and any other label you want to put on it is bad.

I grew up in a small town in Texas. In those days racism was the norm. I always cringed when I heard racial slurs used, especially by members of my own family. When I grew up before I would take anyone home to East Texas to visit my family I always warned them that they were going to be shocked when they heard an 80 year old woman a certain very offensive phrase when referring to African Americans. They would always laugh it off as though I was joking, but inevitably they were always shocked when it happened.

I love diversity. I have travelled many places around the world, and have been exposed to many cultures. I have counted friends in almost every ethnic group. All I can say is that racism is ugly no matter form it takes,no matter who is doing it, and no civilized society should ever stand for it.

Being pronounced as a racist or a bigot is a mirrored image of how others stumble on you. Why ought to you prefer to be linked with something like that? Why ought to you prefer to be linked with those who believe that slavery became sturdy, that "coloreds" and whites should not have the capacity to use a similar water fountains and loos, and that having blended children is "undesirable"? ought to you extremely prefer to be linked with non secular intolerance, the way Iran is arbitrary in route of people that're Zoroastrian and thereby prevents those children from attending faculties? ought to you prefer to be linked with those who imagine killing gays for the sake of killing them is sturdy? i have been pronounced as a racist before. It made me take a lengthy, demanding seem at myself about how I perceived others and how I confirmed that by my moves. all of us has their own prejudices-- pre-conceived notions-- yet to be a racist or a bigot, you've faith that you're more advantageous to others. you need to be linked with those who connect a higher "fee" on themselves and be conscious others as inferior. Btw, USAFisnumber, that's not alright to call all of us a derogatory call. My ex-bf became white and that i hated how people ought to examine with him as "oh you're relationship the cracker?" It became so disrespectful and believe me, I gave them a piece of my innovations. i do not care what you're, that's disrespectful and irrelevant. Why do you sense the favor to call blacks by technique of derogatory names?
