Yes. However we would ask customers to be water-efficient and avoid filling them to the top. Children can play just as happily in a half filled pool.
Also, try to make the most of the water by using it to water your plants when the suns gone down. Encourage the children to water the plants using buckets and watering cans, this helps to promote an interest in the garden , is fun and tires the children out before bedtime!
Please try to avoid the need for refilling it by using cleaning products and filters (approved by the paddling pool supplier.
Don't forget to keep watch on the children!!

If it's just a hose pipe ban, you can fill your paddling pool with a hose. There's then nothing to stop you accidentally spilling it on your lawn. However, your water authority might have "additional powers" which means they can ban all non-essential uses of water. If you're with Thames, paddle away. If you're with another authority, check their web site.

hose pipe ban, says it all really. HOSE PIPE BAN meaning, you cannot use a hose pipe. not for washing cars, not for watering the plants, not for filling up paddling pools, HOSE PIPE BAN. use a bucket,or a jug,or a cup or a spoon or a vase but not a HOSE PIPE because there is a BAN.

The authorities only know if someone is breaking a ban if someone tips them off.
By using buckets to fill up a paddling pool, it still uses the same amount of water...

Well I've been filling up our paddling pool with buckets. Takes ages, and it's knackering, and I'm sure I waste more water with spillages than if I used a hose, but the kids LOVE it!!

well, who's gonna know? but if you're afraid of contravening any local bye laws or restrictions, fill it with your bucket..there has never been a BUCKET BAN to my knowledge, takes longer but quite legal...how big is the paddling pool anyway? just go for it !!
and get cooled off....................

Depends what you want to fill it with. But if you mean water I presume they would not want you to as it would be a 'non-essential' use of water.
