Two programs called Ad-Aware SE Personal and Spybot Search and Destroy are very good at removing files that cause your computer to move slowly. Also run a complete virus scan from a trusted provieder...ie Norton or Symantec. If this doesn't work check out your proccessor speed...it may be outdated.

Download a free program like spybot search & destroy 1.3 so that you can disable some start up items that could be causing your computer to have a slow start up and remain slow through out use of the computer.

You can also click on start in the botton left hand corner of your taskbar, scroll to and click on run, type in msconfig, click on the startup tab. Everything that starts up when your computer boots is all listed right there.

Check you haven't got any viruses, worms, spyware, malware or anything else. Get some anti-virus software. Turn off all unused processes and services. Exit unused programs. Defragment your hard drive.
