I think it's supposed to be an "homage" (read: ripoff) of The Ring. The drowned ghost girl at the end had bone-white, wrinkled, waterlogged skin, and when she crawled out of the TV, that MAJORLY freaked people out. So, I guess filmmakers figure, 'If it scared people once, I'm sure it'll keep on scaring them ten thousand more times!"

people dont really have much of an imagination anymore. its getting harder to think of something original thats scary.

i draw pictures of thouse kind of people, hollywood made thouse black haired people,that are mostly girls cause they said they would scare people. or somone got my pictures and thought they where scary?
