No, but I've heard they do really bad tats. A coworker said that her friend got her tat there and they did it too deep so it's raised and thick.
Go to the doctor or a clinic to get an antibiotic.

Get to the doctor ASAP... you could possibly have a staph infection, and if you have a staph infection in the actual tattoo, like it was caused by needles, I'd get tested for HIV, hepatitis and other blood communicable diseases in 6 months then again in a year.

I have 5 tattoos and have never had what you are experiencing. Are you sure it's pus, and not the moist scab falling off? Often you'll secrete white blood cells and plasma from a wound, which is what a tattoo technically is, for a few days, possibly up to a week or more, as the tattoo is healing. This could also be your "pus". I've confused a scab that's had neosporin on it for several days or band-aided without neosporin for several days as pus. How old is the tattoo? Where is the tattoo? Have you been following the directions of the artist? Is it extremely painful and are you showing other signs of infection, such as heat radiating out from the inital tattoo? Red streaks radiating away? Fever, rash in any other locations or nearby? If the tattoo is still very fresh, signs of infection may be difficult to spot unless you can see red streaks radiating away from the tattoo.

Additionally (sorry I keep editing) I am somewhat allergic to the purple ink in my most recent tattoo of a cheshire cat. Did you use any odd colors of ink? You could be having an allergic reaction and your immune system is going a little haywire.

Yuk. They tattooed you too hard(drilled the needle in too deep and went over it too many times). I would contact them to see what they say. try putting Neosporin on it, it should clear up quickly. If not, go see a Doctor. I have never had one get infected, but do know what I am talking about since I am heavily tattooed. :)

You are not suppoosed to get tattoos. It says that in the bible. You should check yourself into a hospital to get that examined.
