The scientific 'proof' is still mainly misunderstood; the biomagnetic field each of us has around us they can measure, (our aura) but Scientists being as they are, will try to explain it away, but there are some quite enlightened scientists trying to quantify and qualify that which is not of this realm, and science will only be able to go so far, because Soul is that which transcends the body; Being human, we are condensed slowly, mere vibrations. An electron can be in more than 2 places at one time. Science can't even really give a good answer as to why that is, let alone the Soul issue; What if I told you that the Soul is a part of God? That we all have a sliver of Our Divine Creator inside us? That is your soul. Science cannot figure out which part of the brain is the "experiencer", and I think that it is the soul that experiences; the brain and chemicals inside, the electrical wiring we have, is our animal side. Everything you have been told is a sin has something to do with our animal impulses. To kill. To rape. While the Animal goes about, making his business, (and his karma), the Soul stands as the experiencer; Tugs at you when you have done wrong. Or guides you back into God,dess' infinite love and understanding.
And Please, demons? I read this poster talking about demons trying to posess you and draw you into darkness: I work in light and love, and they did not Capitalize my Faith. But there again, religiousities making problems for the Human Race.
Hope I have helped. Seek out the movie, "What the Bleep do We Know?" and you will see how far science has come to try to rectify these unanswerables; At some point or another, the scientists must realize that there is something inside us that is not subject to the science of our times. let me give you a link to the website. http://whatthebleep.com/
Lots of scientists give theory and philosophy, and I wouldn't recommend it unless I thought it was informative.
Blessed Be.

Most Philosophers, including myself would reject that premise of a material soul, or one you could "feel". The soul it is consider by some the immaterial part of our being, I associate it with the mind, because in my opinion, that is where the "moral self" exists. The brain is the material storehouse of knowledge where the electric and chemical actions occur.// Can the soul be proven scientifically , I would say, an unqualified no, given the criteria for scientific proof.//
Do I think the soul exists, yes. The soul as I wrote earlier is the immaterial part of our being, it is the part that many rationalist philosophers, such as Descartes, Spinoza, Plato and Leibniz would believe lives on after physical death. The soul is the part that answers to God and lives on consciously in eternity.

I do believe that every person has a soul, a spiritual self. However, I have never heard of a scientific proof for it, although medical doctors often acknowledge the presence of some unidentifiable part of a human body that they cannot pinpoint, see, or explain. Your question of proof because you can "feel" your soul, though, isn't necessarily any proof, since the opposite of that feeling would raise the question: "If I don't feel something, does that mean it's not there?" I think you might agree that the answer to that is NO, so take it from there! Interesting question!

Actually the fact that you feel ANTHING is a strong evidence for soul.
The argument goes roughly like this:
All human feeling are completely internal and are not possible to describe. Two people might say that they feel pain in the left knee -- but how do we know that their pain is the same? This question is not resolvable by science. Even if one were to understand the brain perfectly -- on would still not experience what the owner of the brain experience.
Consider the case of color-blind neurosurgeon. He might know everything about perception of color -- he might know everything there is to know about color. YET, he will never know what it is like to perceive color.
So brain states are not the same as the state of MIND or perceptions. So if the perceptions are not the states of the brain -- what are they? we don't know what it is -- But i like to believe that the mind states come from immaterial soul -- whatever it is,.

any sense can be an illusion. u could simply feel the illusion of a soul. it cannot be proven that u have a soul. it cannot even be proven that u have a body. only that u exist in some form or fasion. "i think, therefor i am". the thoughts u r thinking must originate from something, and that something is u. however, it could be anything

It has been scientifically proven that we do have magnetic fields around us which I do believe is caused by the soul. I'm not sure if a sould can be scientifically proven or not I'm sure most scientists would say no that it can't be. Subjectively speaking though if you feel it and believe it's real then it's real to you.

what you are feeling is a spirit a demon which is trying to scare you or you have been practicing some type of spiritism or Satanism...or wicca, or something to that matter...so becareful, because demons and Satan are very dangerous and can harm you...and the bible states that you as human being are a soul....we don't have a spiritual soul as many think....think of the way God created Adam....read it and think about....and the conclusion is that Adam turn in into a living soul,,, meaning that he as human was a soul....flesh soul....write back at israelmoya20@yahoo.com for more information or if you want to chat in return this matter.

There is a principle in philosophy called 'the principle of self trust'. It suggests that it is acceptable to put trust in our senses unless there is evidence to contradict them. Since there is no evidence to suggest your soul doesn't exist, you may assume you have one based on your feelings.
A soul can not be proven scientifically because it is not part of the natural world.

a soul might be present, it is a possibility one cannot discount.
but when you say you are feeling it, all you are actually doing is subconciously accepting the statement without actually going into the arguement..
it is normal human tendancy to believe without proof and give it the excuse of a feeling or an intuition.
as for the arguement, it is still open, there is nothing new forthcomming to challenge the status quo which has cursed most unresolved questions in philosophy....

I do not know of way of scientifically proving the soul exists, but if you feel your soul, then it is true for you. You do not need to prove it to another person.
