I am thinking of opening a Restuarant geared towards truckers.. I would like to get feedback from people on the road of what they would like best.. Im sure it would need to be something fast.. but do you prefer a hamberger or after all that driving.. do you want a real meal?.. also wondering if offering a place for showers and phones would be a good idea?

Burgers are great. But do NOT forget SALADS. Showers and pay phone are always good too. Don't forget to monitor Channels 9 & 19 on the CB radio frequencies. That way you might hear of some traffic problems in your local area that you can tell the 18 wheelers and the 4 wheelers to avoid. :-)
Breaker Breaker.

Invest some time and research a place called Gas City. There's one on I-10 in Arizona between Tucson and Benson.
They have showers, neat stalls, a great front room with beverages along the walls. Snacks, merchandise, souvenirs, around the corner big huge restaurant, (A&W) and fountain. It's opened 24/7 and always busy.
So much more.
I would love to own one.

i've got examine the different comments, and observed human beings stated Labradors, Border Collies, & Boxers. i'd would desire to disagree. those are extreme capability breeds, and choose to no longer take a seat nevertheless. i'd say the yank Pit Bull Terrier is an incredible breed...they are all regarded down upon, and ought to truly use a loving proprietor. i'd circulate with one which is ideally 4 yrs or older, because of fact that they are greater comfortable at that age. Rottweilers would be a solid determination, as nicely. Dobermans, additionally, in spite of the actual undeniable fact that they are slightly demanding to discover in rescues.

I wouldn't just have hamburgers. Do something along the lines of highway plazas. They have many different resturants to try from, i.e. Burger King, Popeye's Chicken, Pinera Bread, and a sit down resturant with a menu, waiter, etc. They also have showers, phones, and gift shops. Those work best.

HI

Those places are everywhere hon. What a driver needs is a good meal that will not give him heartburn the rest of the day.
