getting gifts that were bought or made from loved ones or friends?
i like when they make the gift..b/c it shows they took time for you and it shows they really do love you..

dats nice and all and i get wat ur sayin but i kinda like gifts that is bought cuz it shows they have time to go and look for a gift that they think u'll like and dats special too

I like to get gifts that I can use and as long as the person put some thought into it then I don't mind if they made it or bought it.

I just like it if they remember me...like a card...homemade or store bought... my daughter forgot my b-day last year...really sucked! as for gifts, don't care whether I get them...if I do great! I have gotten some cute homemade ones for mother's day over the years when the girls were little in school...

I agree with you, nothing says someone thought about you more than a hand made gift. I always greet the newest babies in our family with handmade baby blankets ..and make all sorts of cross-stitch and crochet to share during the year.

No, I don't mind receiving gifts; but at the same time, I kind of don't want to be the center of attention either.

make the giftss too.. but if they get you something you really wanted.. that would also show that they care.. maybe not as much though

Mine is opposite. I like it when they give me cash. They really don't care what I like so they'll just tell me to buy it.
