We had a cat named killer (was a sweetie) but liked the name he was solid black. We had a cat named Daly named for John Daly the golfer he lived 13 years. Now my cats name is Chrissy named after a dear friend of mine named Chris who passed away from cancer in february. He hated cats but thought it was amusing that I named her after him, its so I can remember him every day.

Well... it depends. My family has had or currently has the following cats:

Max, Mia, Slim Jim (named after the beef jerky!), Stacie (Anastasia, Stacie for short), Alex, Josie, Cedric.

Actually, all of our pets have full names... like Captain Maxwell Rogers, Amelia Lanae, Anastastia McGillicuddy, Alexander Alligator, et cetera.
