First of all, you need to admit that you don't have a daughter and you are in fact the 14 year old that wants to lose weight. It's no mystery looking back at your Q&A. I would suggest you talk to your parents and start a diet and exercise regime. There is no shame in asking for help, stop hiding and making excuses. Reduce the amount that you eat and move a little more every day. It probably would not be a bad idea for you to speak with someone about this because it seems the weight may have more to do with self esteem than anything else.
Good Luck

My daughter is 13 and weighs 160 but she is 5 foot 9.I am still concerned about her weight though. What is she eating,Junk food has to be out.I think my problem its how much she is eating, little snacks in between. You know you have to be careful like 2 plates of food instead of one.She should have a lot of daily activities its good she skiis and runs.It really does depend on the height too though. If she's 5 1 or taller?I think you should take her to see a doctor for that. They can put her on a diet and tell you what foods are good and better for her to eat. Also very important find out what they are feeding her at school if she eats lunch there. You can have her write down everything she eats in a day and take it to her doctor.Things like that is a good way to start.Good luck

The running is definately a good idea. Is she doing sit ups and working her upper body as well? Also watching what she eats. She should be able to burn off all the calories she takes in. But as long as she is getting her needed vitamins. Eating properly and getting a good work out she should do fine. Best of luck to her.

some people are naturally stockier than others. Muscles, bone size and density, height, genetics all play a major role. If she runs daily, and is not always eating crap, try convincing her she is pretty as is. If all else fails, see a dietician and a doctor.

She needs to cut back on empty calorie intake and then to control her proton sizes. Have her try something like weight watches to learn the nutrition information in foods.

God Bless You,
