one person shoots from anywhere... if they make it the other person has to make the same shot from the same spot... They can complicate it by calling "swish/ off the ground etc." they have to make that shot and so does the second person... if they miss (the second person) they get a letter (h) the first person shoots again... if they make it, the first person shoots from a new spot... if they make it, the 2nd has to make it oo... if they miss, the 2nd person can shoot from wherever, if they make it, the first person has to make it or get a letter...
basically, if someone makes a shot the other person has to make it or they get a letter.. the first to spell horse loses...
i hope that makes sense

Any number can play. Have the kids pick numbers. Number one chooses the first shot. Let's say he chooses a jump shot from the free throw line. He shoots a jump shot and makes the shot, he stays in the game. The next person shoots the same shot. If he misses, he gets an H. Each player takes the same shot, makes it or gets an H.
Player number 1 then chooses a left handed lay up from under the basket. He makes the shot and stays in the game. The next player who has an H, misses his shot. He now has H O.
Let's say the third shot is a jump shot from the left corner. Player number 1 makes the shot. Number 2 misses the same shot. He now has H O R against him.
The play continues until all but one player has H O R S E against them. The last player with less than five misses wins the game.

One person creates a shot whether he/she shoots the basketball backwards, etc. if that person makes the shot backwards then the next player has to do the same backwards shot. If the second player makes it than you move on to the next trick if the he/she misses then you add a letter "H" and whoever spells out HORSE first is the loser. I hope that example helped.

You take shots from wherever you want. If you ring it, the next person has to shoot it from where you did. If they miss, they are an H. If you miss your shot, then the next person can shoot from wherever they want. The person who rings it, the next one after has to ring it from where the person before them did, if not you get a letter until you spell out horse.

The above answers are good.
One other rule is that, if a player #1, who is right-handed, makes a left handed shot (in other words, with his 'opposite' hand), then player # 2, if he is left handed, would have to shoot the same shot with his RIGHT (i.e. HIS opposite) hand.

It's a made up game like kick the can or hide and seek, just make up your own rules.
