Personally. I discourage my beautiful girlfriend to wear makeup. Because it hides the natural beauty that she has.

Over 90 percent of women have no idea on just what is appropriate makeup. So the women in this group shoud be told never wear makeup. The 10 percent of women capable of a tasteful, stylish makup job should be encouraged to wear it. Looking like a cheap Puerto Rican H-O will never get you anywhere but flat on your back.

How sweet, you seem like a down- to -earth type of guy. Which means it won't be hard fore you to see that make up doesn't necessarily always need to be glopped and packed-on. There is such a thing as natural-looking- makeup. It's the one I recommend the most. For many females, make-up not only HELPS to bring out their already-fantastic inner and outer beauty, but it gives them a nice confidence boost.

I think makeup is okay if you use it in moderation. I'm not into the overly glamourous, fancy shmancy makeup. As long as its toned down and natural then it looks good. Not everyone call pull off going without any makeup at all, so it really depends on the person.

I think if u dont over do it than go for it, but if u cake it onthen it looks ridiculous, all i wear is mascara and i line my top lid an dthats it. every so often i like to wear eyeshadow, but i dont wear it everyday only for special occasions. i dont even wear foundation or powder, but i will if i need to.(not often) but if u are a natural beauty than just enhance with very little makeup, like mascara and tinted lip gloss. Now thats gorgeous.

sometimes we ourselves can't see the natural beauty that others see. I used to think I had to cake it on and put as much eye stuff on as humanly possible ! I finally found , by experimenting, a little bit and only in certain areas works best for me. I noticed when I put mascara on just top lashes only and no eyeliner, my eyes are at their best. Anyway ....keep telling her how beautiful she is , and maybe eventuially, she will get it !
Ps. Maybe your afraid shes too pretty sometimes ??? Or does it really just totally change her look ?

From my past experiences... my boyfriends dont like girls that wear a lot of make-up.... myself all i wear is lipgloss and mascara... all girls have to have lipgloss.. but when you wear a little "tiny" bit of make up your natural beauty shows and that is when the boys think you are the prettiest.. Natural beauty is soo much better than FAKE....

I'm not a guy, but I wear make up about once a year.
I feel sorry for the women who wear it habitually - it seems that then they think they don't look good without it. THey become dependent on it. Sad.
