Just trying to figure out when you decide on a wage in an exemption form, would the wage be the amount before or after taxes.

Gross wages is earnings before any deductions.

Net wages is take home pay. In other words, your earnings after all deductions have been taken.

I'm pretty sure that wages are before taxes.

It is definitely before taxes.Sorry but they are going to take the taxes off, when you recieve your paycheck.

That depends on whether you are talking gross or net. Gross is before and net is after.
