The milky way has between 100 Billion and 400 Billion stars. That's 16 times as many as there are people on this planet.
So yes, there is definitely other life than out somewhere.
What type? NO idea. I am not into guessing the unknowable.

I think there's life on other planets, but when people talk about "life", they automatically assume a technological civilization. For three billion years, there was life on earth, but no such thing as radios or spacecraft, or even a spear. When we do make "first contact", I'm betting it's going to be with simple life, like algae, not with Vulcans or anything like that!

Who knows. The milky way is a pretty large galaxy. It is almost 600 Quadrillion miles in diameter (calculated myself). I'm sure there are bacteria like organisms, I don't know if their are animal like creatures but I wouldn't be surprised. The more scientists study evolution the more they realize how easily life started.

I would believe so, as there are many stars in just this galaxy alone for the chance of life to also arise on what planets may revolve around them. :)

Actually the Holy Qur'an gives us a glimpse that there are other creatures living in the universe, but it doesn't specify where, Muslims scientists could not make sure whether this verse is clear or not .. but to me it's very clear ..
