if you read the directions on the DS, you'll see that you either need a wireless access point that connects from your Internet connected PC to the DS, or you need to have a 802.11b/g wifi network in the house.

If you have the network already in the house, just do a scan from the DS to pick up SSID broadcasts (search for networks), then pick yours, enter the encryption key (if it has one), connect. Then never answer this question again, and always read the directions before doing something. Especially using a condom.
