How many times have you gone somewhere and swear you have seen this person before but in reality you have never ever met this person in your life.
Does this happen often?
I have another similar question that I have asked today also?
Is there an explanation to this ? This is very puzzling to me,it happened to me today and I am dumbfounded.
I went up to this person and asked her where we have met before..( I know it sounds like a lame pick up line) but it really happened.
We ended up talking for about 1/2 hour and exchanged names before her boss started staring us down..so I left.
Has this ever happened to anyone else before ? and did you approach this person and ask them where you have met before like I did?

the logical explanation for this would be that you have seen this person before in passing and it was stored in your subconscious and when you saw her again you recognized her from somewhere but couldn't place it. And to answer the original question yes that has happened to me, it used to happen to me a bit more but now it doesn't happen as much. There are other explanations that aren't as scientific as they are theoretical, though some scientists have thought this theory might be true but has yet to be proven. It could be that you are remembering the future.
There is a something called future causality (I think that's what it's called). It's where the future effects the past. Now you may be saying how is that possible? Well it is believed by some that all things that are happening are always happening, so some thing that you have yet to perceive have happened has actually already happened/happening. It's rather confusing and I think that's the best that I can explain it at this moment. It would also explain some people's "psychic" visions and such.

Sounds like a very strong case of deja vu to me.

Deja Vu means that you have seen someone or feel like you've been or done something before that you haven't actually done although it feels oddly familiar. There is no scientific explanation for deja vu. There are of course other explanations. One that I have heard is that time overlaps and that you actually might have dreamed the incident and that is why it is now familiar to you. Some people say that it is a psychic encounter.

It is called deja vu and it applies to situations too, sometimes you are somewhere and you will swear that you have been there before but you know you haven't. Deja vu is mostly caused by tiredness.

You probably saw her somewhere before and just stared at her like a pervert and then you thought about her later and then forgot about her and when you saw her again you were so familiar with her face that you thought you knew her.

my comment was meant to be funny not insulting by the way.
