Tried changing it in contact details, that didn't work, changed in yahoo profile, that didn't work. My full name still shows! Please help with detailed info. Thanks in advance.

There should be a part about display name and you would have to change that part...
If you can't find it, run a search on the help in that program, for "display name"

go to edit your profile and it should give you an option to change it edit your info

I know mine does that too. And when weird people IM me they see my name it doesn't say ShilohRose23 it say Shiloh Kensington.
