Why are you concerned with: What most of America believes.?
Most Americans are busy working hard to take care of their families and much to busy to be worrying about who the world revolves around. Worry about your own Socialist redistribution of wealth.

I found your question, sophomoric:

Well in a very real sense the world does revolve around the the US right now. The US makes up 25% of the worlds economy (more or less). It is the only super power that exists right now. The only country with the with the Political will to use its Economic, Political, Moral (I know many would disagree but just humor me many do agree), and Military strenght. Yes there are other "powers" out there, the EU, Russia, etc but they are all lacking at least one of these items. For example Europe has the Economy, the Moral, and Military strenght but it complete lacks the political will to use it at all unless it is with the US (if you don't agree look at what happened in Yugoslavia)

Also this feeling that the world revolves around the US has happened at every step in History, The British Empire, the Spanish Empire, Rome, The Greeks, and only to name some of the better know European "superpowers" of their times.

And lets not decieve ourselves. This would be happening whomever was the current Superpower and sometime down the road it will happen with the next superpower once the US has fallen from its current throne so to say.

I think that it is pure ignorance. A lot of it has to do with a lack of education about the world, but it is also because they fail to see their own country the way it really is. Americans for the most part still believe in their "Leave it to Beaver" reality of America. We all know that it is anything but with their crime, poverty and general excessiveness. The bigger is better and more is better attitude that is driven into them (consumerism) also leads them to believe that if they can have or buy more things than others in the world, then their way must be the best. Having the most powerful army in the world sure doesn't hurt the ego any. America is in many ways a beautiful country and in many ways people of other countries do envy them. They just don't get that people don't admire them or their ideals like they may have in the "Leave it to Beaver" years. They actually think their **** doesn't stink.

Most people in American don't even know what the hard life is anymore!!!!

Many Americans are ethnocentric. They have no idea what it is like to live in another culture. They cannot see things from any point of view other than their own. This is more true in rural and isolated areas with little diversity. Politicians and popular culture re enforce this view. How many TV shows show a realistic view of what it's is like to live in a different culture? For that matter how many TV shows give a realistic view of life in American culture, but that's a whole other issue.

We don't. The euphoric feeling of being Americans and the egos that comes with it comes from several things. There isn't anybody on this planet (aside from God) who could kick our ***. While this is important, it is not nearly as important as knowing we supply 1/3 of the worlds food products, even though most countries in the world depend on their agriculture for thirty to seventy percent of the revenue, it is less then 1% of our Gross Natinal Product. we are second leading producers of Gold, silver, boxite, asbestos, synthetic fuels, and diamonds. We are the worlds leading producers information, economical lending, aid, medicines, Iron ore, Iron recyclables, etc. Additionally we own the largest oil, gold, silver, coal, bronze, copper, and iron reserves in the world.
Most importantly, we are practically uninvadeble as a nation. No other persons could go with us tow to tow on our turf and not suffer for it for a hundred years after the fact.

They made a substantial tale approximately it, yet they never point out what number black anybody is balloting for Barack basically because of the fact he's black. i've got faith those 2 communities will cancel one yet another out. this is unhappy that such multiple anybody is balloting merely on actual features in this election. in line with risk sometime our united states gets over our ameliorations and initiate worrying extra with regard to the destiny returned. it ought to take extra important disaster in the past human beings quite do positioned united states first returned.

For the same reason the Catholic church forced the world to believe the Earth was the center of the universe, too much power, too little brains.

If more Americans spent more time reading rather than sitting in front of their television sets, they might discover that there really is something called "The Rest Of The World".
