does humidity have any effect on flash hot water heaters?

bosch aqua star refuses to work. when i turn handle to cold and then back, it re-ignites but then stops again. are there any sensors that can be affected by outside weather??

These don't run unless there is a demand for hot water right? So if your just messing with the unit without runniing hot water somewhere, it wouldn't do like your saying correct?
If you are unsure about it's operation, you should call a serviceman to look at it.
