Some cheap-a** Nokia camera phone... I refused to pay for an expensive phone ever since I found out how the price drops down by 70% after a short few months... so I only want free phones now.

i work as a cellphone dealer, the most complaints i get all the time is with motorola phones. i know they look nice, they are advanced when it comes to features but they damage easily. i have a motorola v600 and i HAAAATTTEEE it! sometimes it hangs on me, many times i've already banged it against the wall out of rage.
here's the technique... the less features a phone has, the less chances for damage. i know it looks cool when you see phones that do everything -- but trust me, it's not worth it -- the camera is not that clear, the internet is very slow, music or mp3 acts up on you... it's better if you bought all those things separately. buy a phone that the purpose is only to make phonecalls. LG phones are the cheapest phones but surprisingly, they're very durable. so far, i've never had a customer who never complained about an LG phone (*knock on wood*) and that's what i try to endorse lately. notice how LG's don't really have that much features? that's why they're very durable.
motorola sucks! PDA's like blackberry, treos, sidekicks -- don't expect state-of-the-art services, because they are very slow. insurance does not really cover treos (i don't know, maybe because they break easily). i don't know about blackberries and sidekicks.

I have the SidekickII. I love it. It comes with an email address, has a web browser, holds a bazillion contacts, has AIM,speaker phone, the camera is not the best but it's there, tasks section, notepad section, awesome games to download & software. The Sidekick3 is out now & has many improvements, but I love my phone so much that I am gonna wait & see if they release special editions like they did with the one I have (Juicy Couture & Mr. Cartoon). I was so bummed b/c I had JUST bought mine. Plus if you're not currently a T-Mobile customer you should be able to get a really good discount/rebate.

Used to have a Nokia 3390 with T-Mobile a couple years back. The phone was "old" by today's standards, but worked. What was bad was T-Mobile -- coverage was awful. Now I have an LG VX7000 with Verizon. It's been a great phone (its camera is pretty funny), great coverage... I've been quite happy with it.

I have a Razr...it is the only cell phone I have found that works about 80% of the time at my house. I like within rock trowing distance of an airline radio tracker tower....it sucks.
