I cut my foot five days ago... it's still an open cut, I've cleaned it and put antibiotic cream on it everyday since I cut it... there's been no change and it's red and swolen :( Is there something else I should do?? It's not that deep??

There are several possible reasons why you have not healed as yet. One is an infection, another may be that you have diabetes, which will slow the healing process. Either way, you should go to your doctor and get it checked. What may seem minor to you could lead to a serious problem if not treated in a timely mannor.

I cut my foot also last week and its healed completely now. It was sore walking on and kept bleeding but each night i would put hydrogen peroxide on it to get any nasties out and then antiseptic let it heal over night and keep off it as much as you can. Let it air to form a scab,so bandaid off when resting

In order to heal, it must be dry. Your feet sweat a lot and the cut will alays be wet and never scab over. Try wearing sandles and leaving it exposed for a day or two.

It is time to go to the ER, because something is preventing the healing process.
