Question: Usually when I masturbate I use this flashlight that I have. Before my period started I, noticed that after I finished masturbating there was a little blood on the flashlight. I thought it was just my period but I have been done with it for over a week now and there is still blood showing up on the flashlight. I thought maybe it was because I was too vigorous but I’m usually gentle. I just wanted to know if it’s something I should be concerned about.
Answer: The blood before your period began was normal spotting. But the blood could be coming from slow tearing of your hymen. Also, your light bleeding can be the result of a tear in the vaginal wall. You should see a doctor, who can do a careful diagnosis and tell you what you need to do next.
