You are mistaken. Many Republicans may act like they don't care about you and you may assume it is because you are of a different race. I assure you, it is merely because you are poor.

Yeah, you're wrong. I am a Democrat and I could tell you that. That's a pretty offensive statement you have made. Imagine someone saying "I think over 75% of black people are drug dealers." Truth be told, most people don't hang along party lines based soley on their beliefs about racial or social equality. In fact, I heard a gay man on the radio today that was a strong Bush supporter. That almost seems contradictory due to the Conservative's stance on gay marriage. I know a lot of Republicans and they are not racist. That is a misguided view on life.

First of all, you must delineate the term racist from prejudice. One Hundred percent of people are prejudice. Prejudice infers coming to a judgment on a subject before learning where the preponderance of evidence actually lies. For instance, if a man is robbed by Blue-skinned males his entire life then he develops a prejudice, or "pre-judgement", about Blue-skinned males, i.e. all Blue-skinned males are thieves. We can't help being prejudice, it's part of our nature. Rich Americans may not have contact with many African Americans because of socio-economic differences. These types of Americans may get the majority of their exposure from TV ("Cops", news reports, rap videos) which may give them an unfavorable perception of African Americans. Thus, they become prejudice just like the man is predjudice against Blue-skinned people. I think this is unfortunate normal human behavior.

This must be differentiated from RACIST. Racists are prejudice just like everyone else. However, they become truly racist when they refuse to allow an individual to escape thier prejudice assumptions. For instance, the man meets an honest young Blue-skinned male but, regardless of his experiences with this particular Blue-skinned male, he refuses to trust the Blue-skinned male and assumes the Blue-skinned male will rob him if given the opportunity. This is Racism. If you take your racial "pre-judgements" and lay them on the shoulders of a single indivual then you are wrong. If you don't allow that person to rise above your "pre-judgements" then you are a racist.

I think 75% of Repulicans are prejudice. Not racist. But so are Democrats. So are blacks. So are whites. So are you. So am I.

I think over 75% of Americans are Racist. But then I guess I fit into both categories. You know how that saying goes... once I went black.... well I went racist against white guys...

Yes. It is 100%. And 100% of Democrats are racist. These people golf together on Sunday, eat dinner together and are on THE SAME SIDE fundamentally. They have the foolish believing that they can be distinguished.

I am a conservative so I guess I'm Republican (I can't vote yet) but I am NOT a racist. My best friend is black (I'm white) and we do many things together like hanging out and spending time with each others families. You, sir, are racist for your ignorant comment.

One might accurately say that 100% of people are racists.

But if you mean people who actively try to favor one race over another, I'd say that it's pretty equally split between the "Ds" and the "Rs".

It's all a matter of which race you are talking about.

I'm curious. Where did your figures come from? What is from a poll taken or are you just quessing?

I'm a republican who simply votes for the best candidate regardless of race, creed, or political orientation.

But we are not racist, we just can't stand people making stupid comments without any type of data to prove it.

I'd say 75% of both parties are racist, including African Americans.
