Don't be disheartened by all the people acting like you're an idiot. Pregnancy is NOT the only reason periods get skipped! There are many problems that can occur, in any event, you need to see a Dr. Clarify that you're not pregnant, and then go from there. Some other possible problems are: stress, under/overweight, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), fibroids, etc. But honestly the most frequent reason for a woman to have irregular/no/constant periods is PCOS, 10% of women have it. Other symptoms: Excess body hair (find yourself shaving that moustache a little more often?), dark skin patches near armpits and inner upper thigh, obesity, getting sick when eating complex carbs.
Like I said, whatever it is, it ISN'T normal to just skip that many, so DO get checked out.

Well you could definitely be pregnant so you should definitely take a pregnancy test. Do you have any signs of pregnancy like nausea, fatigue, sore breasts, etc? If you are not pregnant then either you have an extremely irregular period or something could be wrong. Sometimes stress or weight fluctuations can cause a missed period. You should see a doctor immediately. That is not normal.

You could be pregnant or if you are old enough, going through menopause. If you are a serious gymnast, ballerina, or some other sport or art that requires a huge physical committment, that could account for it. If you are anorexic, that would do it. If none of these things describe you, get yourself to a doctor! If you are anorexic.....doing extreme dieting....Get yourself to a doctor! There could be something seriously wrong and you had better find out as soon as possible!

My friend didn't have her period for over 2 months and she wasn't pregnant. She was depressed and under a lot of stress and that delayed her period. She wasn't having sex so her doctor put her on birth control to regulate her menstruation cycle.

If you're not under stress and you've been having sex you should take a test as soon as possible.

You need to call your doctor, if you live with your parents talk to your mom about making a doctors appointment, or go to planned parenthood...
You may be pregnant, but if you haven't done anything for that to be possible then you may need to be put on the pill to help regulate your periods..
Don't worry, but go to the doctors just in case they find something that you wouldn't be able to spot.
good luck

well i'm guessing it isn't menopause because your name is babygirl. but if you aren't pregnant it could be other things. if you are sick or underweight that could do it. or maybe you have hormonal problems. or possibly a cyst. or sometimes stress does it, too. If it is only your first year of have a period, it isn't weird to be irregular at first. after my first i didn't have another for 3 mos. talk to your mom and go to the doctor.

You should probably go get a pregnancy test or have a friend get one for you. If that comes back negative go to your Doctor immediately! Something could be seriously wrong. Good Luck!

Firstly, you should probably see a doctor. Most likely he/she will tell you that you're stressed or you've exercised alot, or you're skinny, or you had a change in diet, and there's nothing to worry about. If you have had sex, you might be pregnant, but not necessarily. Best of luck.
