I have worked with the same female partner now for 4 years with no problems... We have been great friends. As such over the course of the 4 years we have told each other jokes (some raunchy.....some downright obscene) and we both laughed hysterically. About 6 months ago, a person came on board that she wanted in my position. So now she is screaming sexual harrassment. Everytime I come to work, she makes it a living hell with allegations (60% are just plain lies). Yesterday, she called human resources to question everybody where I work about it---and they all told human resources that nothing was going on. I have stopped talking to her. I have apoligized countless times to her. She continues to wreak havoc in my life. I don't even come in on the days she works (I work elsewhere). None of this has done any good....What can I do to get her off my back?????????

save the the dirty talk for your wife, woman in the workplace are only out for themselves its not her fault because woman by nature only care about themselves its your responsibility to not put yourself in a vulnerable position, I wouldn't get a new job because she has no more a right to be there than anyone else, continue not talking to her and if she continues her harassment let the supervisor know, good luck, be strong

This reminds me of that movie Disclosure with Demi Moore and Michael Douglas -- this woman is a SERIOUS manipulator - I went to HR over something like this and ended up having to quit because it was such a hostile work environment - I think YOU should go to human resources, explain the situation and let them know you feel harassed. If HR is no help (as was the case in my situation) - you should leave before things get out of control.

Why don't you file a harrassment complain with HR? Sounds to me like she is making your life hell while you aren't doing anything to her. Document each and every incident (date, time, who was involved, what happened) so that you have a record. You should be doing this anyway in order to protect yourself from HER claims.

that just sucks. I would try to swith job in the same company "if possible" to a differnt location. You can't win in the situation be sure you don't do anything to warrent her allegations. Yeah i'ld say your being harrased but, not much you can do.

Maybe she had a crush on you and finely realized that you two are only going to be just friends. Ask her to stop. If she doesn't, follow the chain of command, and report her.

Even if you are, she filed the first harrassment charge and its going to look like your doing it to get back at her.

Sorry....
