The a/c blows cold until the vehicle is turned off and then restarted. Once I start it back up, it only feels luke-warm. I have checked for leaks and hoses to/from compressor are getting cold. No technical service bullitens are listed on this. Any ideas?

After you start it up again does it stay warm or does it eventually get cold again? It is possible it is a problem under the dash with the blend door or in the control head itself. When you shut off the vehicle there could be a vacuum leak and the door resets itself to the hot air position and stays there until enough vacuum has been accumulated to let it open up again. If you say the lines are cold and the compressor seems to be functioning properly it has to be a problem in the dash, assuming you have checked the system pressures and they tested good with no symptoms of a blockage in the system and the cooling fan is working properly. Try locating the main vacuum feed line into the firewall and check it for proper vacuum from the engine. If it looks good use a vacuum pump & gauge to check proper operation under the dash. Good luck.

It sounds like you need to recharge your air conditioner - it's almost out of freon.
