after getting a good wind up, use your left arm to push out strongly, like you are opening a door. Hold the position, with your free leg streched in front for a couple of revolutions, to get centered. Then pull it all in tightly. Don;t forget to cross your feet!

My girlfriend has been iceskating for 9 years now and a good way to improve ur scratch spin is to get good speed into it stick ur right leg out( if right handed ) put ur arms out so that u can become centered then put ur right foot over ur left and then pull ur arms in tight to ur chest thyen push ur arms up or down to go fatser, which evr one u prefer. Good Luck and if u need n e more help just ask or e-mail me.
