Yes, I recieved an e-mail about this a few days ago but it was from the Austalian Lottery. However, it seems to be handled by a regional claims agent from Britain by the name of Benson Milton and involves several different locations over there in that area of the world. I got another e-mail from Equity Bank of Nigeria asking for funds to cover fees and taxes for my prize. Have not sent any nor ever will. I told them to take the fees out of my winnings and them provide me with the documentation that will allow me to collect the remainder of the prize. So, we shall see how it goes. I am almost 100 percent sure that this is a scam. However, you always hope for the best.

I get them all the time from all over the world. So far I have won a lottery in London, Australia, and some obscure member of my family has dies and left money for me in Africa. They are a hoax. Irritating, because I could really use the money!!!!

Not personally but I've read about people who were scammed by it. You can find an article about those and others like them on Snopes.
