I have stayed at both and I usually pick Monte Carlo for price. I didn't think the Bellagio room was worth $50 more per night. But if you are celebrating, go to Bellagios, its a better hotel. If you can get a room overlooking the Fountains that would be great.

Bellagios has a nice pool area, Monte Carlo has a regular pool plus a wave pool and lazy river. Its easier to walk to other hotels from Bellagios since its in the center of the Strip.

Bellagio is really nice and more expensive. Monte Carlo is a nice place, but not in the center of the strip like Bellagio. I like them both, but Bellagio is fancier. Monte Carlo has it's own brewery, so it might be better for a 21st birthday celebration.

Well obviously the Bellagio is nice, and the Monte Carlo is just one of those nice looking places that I have never been in and never met anyone who stayed there...obviously someone stays there...It just doesn't get the press buzz but it looks nice, it's right next to New York, New York and across the street from the MGM Grand.....I think I will go in there next time and see what's up with it...They are planning Vegas' next big casino between the Monte Carlo and the Belagio...suppose to be the biggest project on the strip EVER.

Congradulations. I've been to the Bellagio when I was younger, but I hear that Monte Carlo is nice. Plus, it's in Europe.

Monty is OK but you can do better for the same amount of $$$
Palms, Hard Rock or Rio for fun
Imperial Palace if on a budget
Circus Circus/Excalibur has too many kids
Wynn or Bellagio for a once in a lifetime experience

Bellagio, if you can afford it. Get a lake view also. Bellagio is still the best place on the Strip.

Bellagio if you can swing it. Much nicer! center strip location and did I mention much nicer? Ceasar's has stepped it up in the last couple of years too but it's not quite as romantic if that's what you are going for. Paris is a great one for that as well and right in the same area

happy 2d anniversary, kiddo! celebrate with a tumbler of your sought after beverage (or mug, because of the fact the case may well be), a pile of your sought after junk meals, and a stack of Chuck Norris DVD's for employer! and have a star to your particular social accumulating, too! The snake made the blunders of hissing at Chuck Norris, who grabbed it via the neck and squeezed. that's now getting used as an inner tube on a semi someplace in South Dakota. ((((Princess))))
