Has anyone had a boob job? Would you do it again?

I am planning on getting a boob job done. I would like to hear opinions from people who don't know me.

Yes I did....I was a 32AA and went to a 34C/D.....I had just had a hysterectomy..and my self esteem was at an all time low...it was my husbands Idea...he suggested it...and thought it might help me feel better about myself. I agreed. I'm glad I had it done..but the pain was the worst I have ever gone through in my life....I've had 3 kids and 2 surgeries including the hysterectomy...I am 42 years old........the thind that caused my pain so much is the size I went from( I was a very small person....not alot of extra skin)...so they actually streached my skin the farthest it could possibly go. They are very good about giving you pain medicine..and you go back for many checkups.......YOu will have to wear a very tight sports bra for about 6 weeks at least...and no lifting for that long as well. Its been about 1 and 1/2 years since I've done it and there are still times when my breasts hurt to touch.......If I had to do it over again?......probably not...knowing what i do...but I an just one person.....there are different ways to have the surgery and all of them you will be knocked out.....the incision can be under your arm.....through your belly button....around the nipple or under the breast ( this I choose)......think about it...go talk to a couple different specialist before you decide. Mine was here in Indiana at a surgery center for women run by women.....made me very comfortable....good luck with what ever you decide.......just make sure you are doing this for you...and not to please someone else.

No, I have thought about it though since I am a 36AA. I have reconciled the fact that I am small and in many ways it is a blessing from what I have observed. I will not ever have to worry about sagging, thank God; they do not get in the way, bounce up and down when I run, I can go bra-less at home, do not have to put up with under wire crap and, I do not want men staring at my boobs anyway. It's much better to have them staring at my face! Anything you do to your body invasively may have repercussions later. Living with what you were given is sometimes the best way to go.

Why would you want to? going without your bra probably gets you just as much attention , it's a lot less painful and a lot less expensive
