First.... Good for you for being such a great friend to the happy couple. As for an idea the fact that you are so positive and understanding of there love means more than you can imagine, and just being there to celebrate means the world.
BUT....Gay men are the hardest to shop for they already have everything...REALLY!...LOL
Offer dinner at your house after everything calms down. Or anything bright and tacky. :o)
(Thats what my "boys" would like.)

Show tunes? The DVD game "Picture It"? Cher concert anthology on DVD? Gourmet cookbook? 1000, thread-count sheets? Gift certificate to a fine restaurant? Health Club membership? Ballroom dancing lessons? Winemaking supplies? Roomba vacu-robot?

Make sure to have it professionally gift-wrapped (spend the money!) Presentation is everything!

Whatever it is, it should be FABULOUS, baby!

wow a lot of rude and prejudice people in this world, if they're wild and crazy try love shop gift certificates. spa treatments, or even something like a bed and breakfast gift certificate, or even a pet store certificate to buy a little "baby" when theyre ready.

certificates are generally broad, but at least your not picking out something they may be sure to hate

How about a special wedding and photo album? I think you can get those that have places for names and notes in them, that will give them special memories of their day. Of course you should include a photo of yourself so they remember it was from you.

Get them something safe. Don't act like your jusging them though. Try something for a new home, like a dishware set, something useful like that.
