Religion has nothing to do with God. But God has to do with everything that can be found and imagined in this Universe.
Religion is just a group or society of the peoples who (pretend to)follow the rules as set in the books (written by rascals) of that particular religion.
NO RELIGION BELONGS TO THE WHOLE HUMANITY BUT GOD BELONGS TO THE WHOLE HUMANITY.
If God belongs to the whole Human Society and everything found in the Nature then why don't peoples believe in Humanity?
By the way, why are you talking about only the Muslims? Do you think the followers of other so called religions are the worshippers of Humanity?
