You can ask your doc for a blood test, but they don't always detect high or low sugar. If you're low (hypoglycemia) you probably get shaky between meals, and you might get really tired a half hour after eating something sumcgd. If you are low blood sugar, the only way to take care of it is by eating small high-protein meals throughout the day. Kinda sucks sometimes, but it works.

Before you get tested, monitor the way you feel before and after a meal..... If you are constantly sweating, feeling dizzy, you are always hungry, irritable without a reason, have double vision, your feet or hands are swelling, you have redness appearing on your face, arems or legs, or are fainting, you are either Hypoglycimic (low blood sugar) or Hyperglycymic (high blood sugar or Diabetes).

The symptoms for both are very similar and you should definetely get tested if you experience any of them. However, keep in mind that "ALL" people who go for a long period of time without eating will experience dizzines or will faint. Use common sence when looking for the above symptoms.

There are many different symptons of high blood sugar. Extreme thirst, extreme tired and unexplained weight loss if the blood sugar is really high. Go to the doctor and have a blood sugar evaluation

You can feel tired if you don't have enough sugar or you can be irritable if you have too much sugar. The only sure way is to go the doctor to get tested.

Have a doctor order a blood glucose test and, especially, a hemoglobin A1C, which shows what your blood glucose HAS BEEN recently.
