I hated it too. Everyone told me it was a real 'page turner' - well after three chapters I couldn't care less about the characters, plot - just wanted it to be over. So I put it down. Absolute cack.

I loved the book and thought the movie was on par with it. I heard someone say the movie sucked because there was "too much talking". Oh, I'm sorry, do we have to dumb down our movies for you? Here, how about a movie that consists of just explosions? No plot, just big atom bombs. Repeated pictures of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. I'm sure you're entertained.

book was good although pretty far-fetched! Yeah it did take a while to get going but it was very readable. Film just made the crazy plot more obvious though- I kept wanting to laugh most of the way through... It looked very pretty though.

I loved the book, it did take a little while for me to get into it, but once I did...wow. It really made me examine Christianity (and everything associated) closely. Haven't seen the movie yet though.

I think the book is awesome, too. So... revolutionary in the way it shows fragile nature of relingion, which is accepted by so many people.
I'm one of those small amount of people who think the movie is fine, I'd say it's awesome as well, but in another way than the book. It's difficult to explain my feelings...

I have not seen the movie yet, but I really loved the book. It confirmed alot of what I believed already, and I love that people are studying the orgin of Christianity closely now and beginning to think for themselves. It's about damn time.

I loved that book, but haven't seen the movie. I guess you have to have an open mind about how religion was created.
