Italy were the best team at the world cup. Argentina played good football but Italy were the most solid team. If Lucas Neal never slid down like an Idiot Italy wouldn't have got that Pen V Australia. If Italy were lucky V Australia then tell me why did Australia not create any chances even when they were 11 V 10??? The only 2 goals Italy conceded were a freak own goal and a gift of a pen in the final to France.
I don't remember any team winning the world cup without divers ever!!!!! Everybody cheats, if you don't do it you don't win simple!!!

They are now, thats why they are called the world champions, even if you think no, just take a look at their record since the 30's
Would you swap your teams record for the italian one? yes I think so.
won 4 / 6 Finals, 10 different players have scored, only conceded 2 goals and have not lost a game in 26 matches.

You can see Niell caught Grosso, neill was no where near the ball, harsh because it was on the 94 minute but still a penalty but so was the red card.
people dont seem to know that playing brilliant football from the GROUPS to the FINAL is not the way to win the cup!
Italy dont have superstars they have what other teams didnt have a COMPLETE TEAM, WORKING TOGETHER, just to let you all know winning the world cup is down to the TEAM not an individual.
Italy play a tactical game, they attack when need to and defend when need to, not attack attack attack oh **** we lost 4 - 3!
Its all about peaking at thr right time in the world cup, Argentina and Spain speaked to early they played there best games FAR too early, Italy got better and better from the start.
they turn the heat up when need to, has everyone forgotten about the Germany game?
If Italy are so bad then why couldn't anyone score against them in normal play?
They are hated because of there achievement, and there achievement is becoming the most successful european nation in world cup history.

Italy is a very good team , with a very hard defense and a very good goalkeeper, i don't think it is the best team of the world, i believe Argentina and Brazil have the best players of the world, and are very good teams too, also Germany and France

World is full of sore losers (see above). I would say Italy and Brazil have always been the best since the 30s. Argentina and Germany always been just a step below. Below that, just another step, Netherlands (never won WC though), England, Uruguay and recently France. All others are suckers.

Well, if we consider the winner of the tournament to be the best, then yes, Italy is the best team in the whole wide world.

no. if u win the world cup it doesnt mean ur the best. italy didnt win all of their first round games. here is the official list of the best:

They won the World Cup so it's obvious they were the best this World Cup, but doesn't necessarily mean that there aren't other good teams!!

no. they may be world champions but they are not the best in the world. i believe that at the moment it is Argentina. i would rather play Italy any day

Indeed they are. People who call them cheaters are completely oblivious to the fact they are all cheaters and take dives. Despite the Italiab dive with the Aussies, they Franch one was way worse and the Italians (unlike the Aussies) still won. They are the best
