I know you how you feel. I also have arthritis in my hands (and elsewhere-- rheumatoid arthritis in each joint). Getting a job with a physical disability can be complicated.
A lot of people have suggested being a telemarketer or doing something that involves phone-work or secretary since you can use a special phone hookup where you rarely, if ever, need to use your hands. Not my career of choice, but it is out there...
My arthritis has improved with Enbrel, so I am hoping to get into teaching, but will have to do a lot of adaptations to get around. And get the kids to help a lot more in the classroom.

I don't think so. It hasn't been proven I've been cracking my knuckles for 4 years or so now. From time to time, it just hurts (especially in the winter), but that's about it. No big deal. Who knows, it might even be something else.

To be honest with you, I have tried many of them work at home jobs and none work. I was working full time as a pharmacy technician but now i can't work i stay home because i have reumatoid arthritist. I have paid money for a lot of these work at home sites. and I lost money, they didn't make any money for me. I'm currently dealing with google and adsense. I saw it on my local news one time and it has been advertised in many business magazines.
