Ah - well that all depends.
If it's just been washed it's a little bit shorter than it was just after that pigeon flew over it an hour ago.
Then again, it's a bit taller than it was last Thursday because the long sticky up thing on top of the tower was painted on Friday.
However, because of the pigeon doing whoopsies on it plus the paint on Friday, it made it a little bit heavier, and it sank about a teeny weeny bit into the ground (sorry if I'm being too technical) which means it wasn't as tall as it was on the 1st of the month just before the lightning struck it.
Another thing we have to remember is that the crazy dance "March of the Mods" is making a big come back. When they dance it in the ballroom it makes the whole thing sway so it keeps changing height.
Anyway - there is only one sure way of telling exactly how tall it is - with a ruler.
I tried this once.
I got a twelve inch ruler and started off at the bottom - I did consider starting at the top but I'm frightened of heights, you see. . . . and off I went.
12 inches plus another 12 inches - that's 24 inches. . . mmm, so far so good. Then I did another 12 inches - that's - phew, quite a few inches now, but after 6 rulers I couldn't reach anymore, so I had to guess.
And my guess was . . . . . . . 12feet 9inches.

Sir,
I believe that it goes to the very top, and should my memory serve me correctly it now has a lightening conductor making it 1 ft higher. So should anyone say it is 519 ft tall they would be just 1 ft short of the correct answer.
So the correct answer is 520 ft and should you fall from the top it would take you approximately 4 seconds to splat the ground. Please do not try this, as it is an offence to feed the seagulls!

I don't know. I went up it in a lift with glass floor when I was a kid with my Dad but was too busy looking at the donkeys on the beach to listen how high it was. Seemed really high.
