Why is everyone a political analyst?

Everyone thinks they know everything about crap in the Mid-East. Why? Left and right....WHY?!

If you didn't have time to look it up after reading this question, would you honestly be able to tell me ANYTHING about the history of Hezbollah? How about why we are buddies with Israel? How about more countries in the Mid East besides Israel, Pakistan, Iran, etc.? Nothing!

Libs, we are there....we need to fix the mistake. Be quiet and think of a solution.

Conservatives.... not everyone in the Mid East, who wears a turbin and speaks arabic is a terrorist. That means NOT EVERYONE IS ATTACKING ISRAEL!

Why can't everyone say, "here is the middle ground, let us all make sacrifices and compromises and come to a solution"?!

I don't expect too many answers to this other than "stupid liberal" and "closed minded conservative", neither of which I am. But try to think critically because this country is going to hell because it isn't about solutions for your 'teams' anymore, it is only about winning

Opinions are fine, you can have em and that is our right....

But 'libs' and 'cons' argue opinions as facts and skewed facts are argued as if they were gospel. That is the point of the question. The uneducated become educated because they agree with one side versus another?

Please pay attention to the question - this isn't about Israel and who recognizes who. It is about AMERICANS and our incessant bickering and inability to say, 'I am wrong. We need to fix this!'

Again people, if you are going to answer - Answer. Don't tell me why we are okay right now or why we are bad or why whatever party sucks. Pull away from your American right to point the finger and tell me why YOU know everything when leisurely discussing politics, especially foreign relations.

Everyone is an analyst because no one keeps long term tabs on who's an idiot. The middle ground would be great...but sometimes a deal can't be done. Only Egypt and Jordan recognize Israel's right to even exist. Israel is at peace with those nations. For ALL of the rest, how can you find middle ground when they won't even concede that you can exist?

In America, support for Israel is bipartisan so I don't know what the bickering is that you refer to. If you are refering to left/right bickering in general, the answer is that in order to get their party's nomination, candidates must run on either the far left or the far right. Why? Because only deeply passionate voters will vote in a primary. If more middle-of-the-roaders such as yourself voted in primaries, we'd have the utopia you envision.

I'm not a liberal or a conservative, and I've tried to look at this with an unbiased attitude even though everyone tells me that terrorists are blood thirsty animals and we should back Israel because we have history with them that i wouldn't understand. However, the only conclusion I can come to is that what Israel is doing is very wrong. They're killing women and children without any real remorse, they're doing exactly what Hezbollah wanted them to do (this turned out better than they hoped), the whole world is watching them do this, Hezbollah is gaining support and sympathy they don't deserve, and finally, if the whole world eventually decides to turn on Israel for their actions, who do you think will be the only other country in their corner?

It's true of most of the people on this site. I've seen a few thought provoking questions (Note: yours is one of them, ignore this note for rating questions) without taking one side or the other.
