Just because it's crap there, why do we have to accept it here?

Yah I find that line tiresome. I appreciate my country but that doesnt mean I cnat disagree with certain things. Citizens being outraged, speaking out and challenging are the things taht make this country great and get things done.
The sentiment that basically is "it could be worse, so shut up" is entirely too complacent for me. And simply because there is a continuim of how things are, and we are on the up side of it, doesnt mean that we cant and shouldnt strive to be better.

These ppl annoy me...let me tell you why...lol. You cannot boast or even sympathise with another country because HELLO you are living here. Maybe I have the wrong idea about life but I have to worry about my home and my family and my child and even myself before I worry myself sick over Libya and Iran.

yeah, I'm tired of that too.
The US is not the only democracy in the world.

There's Canada, Europe, Korea, Signapore, and Japan.

These places are very developed and are more advanced than the US in some ways.

The US is a very sucessful country, but it's not without it's faults. In order to make the US better, we need to admit that it's not perfect.

I do not like that attitude, either. I don't want to leave, I want my country to return to the country I cherish, the country it once was. I will never leave simply because I disagree with the current administration...This too shall pass.

So you're the only one that gets 1st Amendment rights. You question this country, you absolutely have that right. Do I not have the right to question you? Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences.

People they take the Bush quote "Either you're with us or against us" to heart. They don't realize what freedom of speech actually is.
