like when they go out to eat and the tip is so small or none at all. always looking to get something for nothing.

It seems opposite but the poorer people leave better tips. they are the working class and are empathtic to your hard work. Its the richer people who leave poor tips. Most people have had jobs where they relied on tips. people born into money dont understand this. therefore they dont tip as well. I am a living example. Anytime i go out with my friends that are well off, i tip 2x more they do all the time.

I don't think that everyone who has a lot of money is tight with it. There are poorer people who are tight with it. It all has to do with your attitude toward money. Whether you have a lot or a little, if you are always afraid of losing it, you will be tight with it.

My husband and I always leave a good tip. However we are a lot tighter with our money than our "poorer" friends. The main reason is we cannot fathom living paycheck to paycheck.

yup, that is how they keep the money.
You would think its the other way around but nope I know to many people like that, that its not right but well that's the way they are.
